INTRODUCtion TO MINDULNESS

Recently I created the audio below for a project in partnership with USC students and the non profit T’ena Health for the community of South LA. This first audio is a brief introduction of mindfulness.

Recientemente creé el audio abajo para un proyecto en asociación con estudiantes de la USC y la organización T'ena Health para la comunidad del sur de Los Ángeles. Este primer audio es una breve introducción al mindfulness

A BREATHING PRACTICE

A simple practice focused on the breath and different ways of breathing that can help us feel more safe, at ease and grounded.

MAKING SPACE

Prompts to journal or reflect after meditation:  What is coming up for me lately that I haven’t been able to make space? When these emotions/thoughts come up what is my strategy around it? Shut it down, push it away, numb it? Is it possible to feel it where in the body I feel it the most? When I notice it, does it change? get stronger? go away?

ALL PARTS OF MYSELF

Prompts to journal or reflect after meditation:  What part of yourself can you invite in and welcome today? What part of yourself are you fearful of inviting? Can you make space for the paradox nature of being a human being? Make space to listen to it.

WHAT IS THIS TEACHING ME

A practice to bring inquiry around situation that are challenging us

COMING BACK TO PRESENCE

What if we can return to our presence over and over again?
